Arizona homes may be target for thieves during holidays |

The insurance company State Farm has released a report identifying 15 US states in which homes may be vulnerable to break-ins this holiday season.
The study based on claims data from 2004 through the first nine months of 2007, identified Arizona as a state where homeowner thefts are on the rise. Joining Arizona at the top of the list are Nevada, New Mexico, Washington, Georgia and California. These states experienced an increase in burglary and home break-ins during the period studied.

Heavy Snow in Southeastern Arizona |

The National Weather Service has issued a heavy snow warning for all of Southeastern Arizona. The warning effects areas above 6,500 feet and snow may fall through Tuesday evening. There is a possibility the area may get between 8 to 14 inches of snow.

Virtual Border Fence Approved Conditionally |

The Department of Homeland Security has conditionally approved a virtual fence to monitor activity along the border southwest of Tucson. The high-tech fence will be made up of nine towers placed along 28 miles near the small town of Sasabe, Arizona. The town runs along the Arizona-Mexico border.
